Partying your way to more pounds

I stood on my scale few days ago hoping for a miracle, hoping and praying that the figure i would see would encourage me enough to push on till i meet my 2012 year end target………..i was not surprised to see that i had gained weight………yes i have. Added 2.something kg which was a reality check for me.

In the midst of all the compliments on my new body and all the partying this season, with me eating all the goodies and drinking champagne everywhere- boasting i workout alot and would burn out all the calories, the monster called calories have found a way to stay back in my body.

What am i getting at; THERE IS A THIN LINE BETWEEN AN IDEAL WEIGHT AND BEING OVERWEIGHT.

Be careful what you eat this season. Don’t get carried away. It is easy to say you are on recess and would resume your healthy lifestyle in Jan- New year resolution. Trust me, it is harder that way. Make a cautious effort to start now.

It took me only over a week to gain 2kg back imagine and i was not entirely bad and worked out at least 3times this week………..Think about the person who do not care what goes in and do not do any form of exercise. Get on your scale today and see for yourself.

    I totally agree…never go to a party hungry…especially in this era where small chops / canape’s are the order of the day. #SayNoToJunkFood

    Wow, I just read your weight loss journey on bellanaija and I am sooooo motivated, I used to be a size 10 till I had my baby last year and all of a sudden I see myself struggling into a size 12 dress, I cant fit into any of my old dresses and most times have to pass on occasions cos of what to wear.

    Now I really want to go back to size 10 but i found out i still eat a lot cos i am still nursing my son, i tried cutting ddown on cabs but it hasnt been easy and gym for me have not worked out cos of my busy schedule (i know i have to figure out a way around it) cos i need to go back to being the me that i used to know………

    Wow!I’m totally inspired!followed ur link from BN.
    We are about the same age but never had a baby &i share ur former weght,I really haven’t been overly bothered about my weight bcos I’m always saying when I finish having my future kids,I would loose weight but now I’m thnking differently.
    U do look fab!I really wish I could loose weight under 7month like u.I’m soo lazy getting up in the morning 2 go jogging and as for the diet,how do I go alternative from my Ghanaian cuisine?all those jollof,banku,yam,plantain etc?*sobbing*
    One thing for sure is that I don’t eat after 6pm,I eat less junk,I take food to work but I hardly move about.
    I’m really motivated but the zest to take up the challenge!I wanna lose the stomach fat,love handles,bom bom cheeks &the flabby arms mehn.God please help me!can have ur bb pin please?trust me I won’t stalk u.hehehe

    HI, WAS PREGNANT AND BLEW UP TO 85KG, YEAH I KNOW THAT`S A LOT, BUT I MISCARRIED, SO DECIDED TO GET BACK TO MY FORMER SIZE WHILE TRYING FOR ANOTHER BABY, I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW YOUR RECIPES,MIND YOU I WOULD LIKE SOMETHING THAT WOULDN`T AFFECT MY CHANCES OF GETTING PREGGERS AGAIN, COS I READ THAT GREEN TEA CAN AFFECT FOLIC ACID ABSORPTION AND YOU KNOW FOLIC ACID IS VERY IMPORTANT FOR ANYONE TRYING TO CONCEIVE…………YOU ARE A GREAT INSPIRATION AND I HAVE BOOKMARKED YOUR SITE, YOU HAVE REALLY BOOSTED MY MORALE, THANKS FOR BEING HELPFUL….

    you should totally do some posts on cooking moin moin without oil or even beans without oil. i have been avoiding rice like the plague. infact, i cant remember the last time i ate rice!

      it isnt realistic to avoid rice totally…..u can eat rice but be sure u are healthy with the portionssss……….a fist full
